Shotgun Microphones have a much more directional (super-cardiod) pick up pattern than conventional microphones. This allows for greater gain before feedback resulting in a clearer sound. They are ideal for a choir in a live situation.

We have the RODE NTG2 Shotgun Microphones available for hire. They can be battery powered if Phantom Power is not available.
