Accounting & Computing

I have tested our Computer (bios & OS), Spreadsheet, Word-Processor,FTP Client, Browser and HTML Editor.
All pass with regard to; Year 2000 roll over, date recognition and Leap-Year recognition.
Differing Pivot-Years and Year-ranges between programs will not pose a problem
Come 2000 and there should be no problem for me to send you a Quote or Invoice.
I have not bothered to test my versions of Quake or Riven!
I have received reassurances as to Y2K compliancy from my ISP (Bigpond) and our Web-Site host (Burwood.Starway) confirming compliancy.
It is a fair assumption that this web-site will still be up, and that I will be accessible via email.

dbx

"All products manufactured by dbx are Year 2000 compliant. Any discontinued products manufactured under the dbx brand name are also Year 2000 compliant. Year 2000 compliance is guaranteed through one or more of the following conditions:
The product is an analog product and therefore doesn't know the time of day.
The product is a digital product, but does not rely on a date or time code for any of its functionality."

Intel

"An Intel product, when used in accordance with its associated documentation, is "Year 2000 Capable" when, upon installation, it accurately stores, displays, processes, provides, and/or receives date data from, into, and between 1999 and 2000, and the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, including leap year calculations, provided that all other technology used in combination with said product properly exchanges date data with it.
Intel makes no representation about individual components within the product should they be used independently from the product as a whole."
'What's the difference between year 2000 compliant, year 2000 ready, year 2000 certified, and "Year 2000 Capable"?'
"There is no generally accepted standard for how computer hardware and software should handle the transition to year 2000. Intel uses its own definition of "Year 2000 Capable" when referring to the capability of Intel products. The definition that we use is similar to definitions used by some other manufacturers. When you use an Intel product, according to the documentation you received with it, that has been rated as "Year 2000 Capable" by Intel, you can depend on the following:
It will accurately use and display dates between 1999 and 2000;
It can do this only if the other parts of your system also are capable of using and displaying dates correctly;
The first two points above apply only if you use the product as a whole, and do not take it apart."
